Japanese Case Studies for Adobe Website
_Adobe: “Cell Mobile Contents“

This series of videos profiled Japanese telecom, video game and mobile content companies who use Adobe products. I acted as the senior editor on a staff that included multiple assistants and translators. In general for these foreign language case studies, I am given several hours of interviews, broll and screen captures to distill into a 2-4 minute video that highlights the benefits of using a certain Adobe product, in this case Flash. Only general messaging and feedback were provided by the client.
I’ve developed an efficient system for working with the foreign languages and in general, they only take about 25% longer than the equivalent pieces in English, with no grammatical errors or cultural insensitivities.
If you would like to see the videos with english subtitles, please visit the Adobe website, but I find that good storytelling rings true even in the untranslated versions.
